Constructive Playthings Translucent Geometric Gems are designed to enable children to explore light and color, build patterns and sequences as well as create imaginative pictures. This set of 25 uniquely-shaped geometric design blocks fit together to make eight 3" x 3" squares that work perfectly with light tables. Add another dimension to the learning and beauty when your children use the enclosed mirror and 15 double sided design cards. The rich colors can be stacked and layered perfectly to encourage color mixing for a multitude of learning opportunities. The regular polygons help with mathematical language and the understanding of shapes and forms (square, triangle, oblong, circle and more). The irregular shape enables more complex pictures to be made and encourages a rich diversity of language such as wave, zig zag, arch, bridge, and more. The plane mirror allows little learners to explore the effects of reflective symmetry.
