How do I access my account?
To access your account, you will use a passwordless login method. Instead of a traditional password, you'll receive a one-time code via email each time you log in.
- Enter your registered email address on the login page.
- Check your inbox for the one-time code.
- Copy and paste the code into the login field on our website.
- You will then be logged in and ready to shop.
What should I do if I don't receive the one-time code?
If you have not received the one-time code for passwordless login, try the following:
- Double-check the email address you entered.
- Check your spam or junk folder.
- Use the Resend Code option on the login page.

What if I have spam filtering set up for my email?
If you use an email spam filtering service, add @constructiveplaythings.com to your safe list or allowed senders. This will help you receive order confirmations, shipping notifications, and promotions if you have opted in.

Institutional buyers that would like to set up a charge account can download our credit application and submit it to Constructive Playthings. Once an account has been established and you have received your customer code or number, you will then be able to place charge orders online.

Can I place an order as a tax-exempt organization?
Churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations can file for tax-exempt status by completing a 501c3 form and providing it to us by mail. Individuals who pay with a personal credit card for the benefit of churches, schools, or nonprofit organizations are not eligible for tax exemption.

Placing an Order
How do I order by phone?
Please call our toll free number at (800) 448-4115 and speak to one of our customer service representatives to place an order. Phones are answered from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Customers with established open accounts can place orders with Net 30 day terms.
Can I order via mail?

Why can’t I find some items that are in the catalog?
We continually update our product lines. Because of these updates, the website may occasionally have products that the catalog does not, and in some cases an item in a current or past catalog may be sold out or discontinued.
Why doesn't my coupon code work?
Our offers are catalog-specific or site-specific. Please make sure you are on the correct site. Coupon codes for Constructive Playthings School Division only work on constructiveplaythings.com.
How can I get more information on an item?
If you have a question about a specific item, please email cp@constructiveplaythings.com with the subject line Request Additional Item Information and we will send you more information as soon as possible.
What does backordered mean?
While we strive to maintain inventory levels, popular items may become temporarily out of stock. If you would like to order an item that is backordered or out of stock, please contact a customer service agent.
How do I change or cancel my order?
We process orders as quickly as possible, so changes or cancellations may not always be possible. Please contact customer service as soon as you can to review your available options.
Shipping & Taxes
What are your shipping terms and conditions?
All shipping prices are freight on board from our warehouse. Shipping charges are calculated based on order size, cost, and shipping requirements. Prices on the website are based on current conditions and are subject to change.
What is your normal processing time for shipments?
Normal processing may take 2 to 3 business days depending on the season. Normal shipping may take 7 to 10 business days to arrive once your order ships. In some cases, we may have to wait on a new factory shipment of stock.
What qualifies as a truck item for shipping?
Truck items are typically larger items such as furniture. If needed, inside truck delivery or lift gate service may be available for an additional charge. Additional special handling requirements may also be available. Please call for a quote.
What items require extra freight charges?
Free freight applies to ground service UPS or curbside truck delivery. Inside delivery and lift gate service are additional charges and are not covered by the free freight policy. Orders requiring these services must be placed by phone because they require special processing.
What does drop ship mean?
Drop ship items come directly from the factory and are excluded from totals used to reach free shipping. These items are noted in the product description on the product page. Actual shipping charges apply, so please call for a quote.
Do you collect sales tax in all states?
We collect sales tax in select states. If you are tax exempt and located in one of those states, you must provide a copy of your tax exemption documentation with your first order.
Do you ship overseas?
At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Our services are currently limited to domestic orders only.
Order Tracking
How long will it take to get my orders?
Standard processing typically takes 2 to 3 business days, subject to seasonal variations. Once your order is dispatched, regular shipping may require 5 to 10 business days for delivery.
How do I track my order?
Log in to My Account to view previously placed orders or track an order that has not yet arrived. You may also use the tracking number provided in your shipment confirmation email.
What are your shipping rates?
Shipping rates vary based on order size and whether items ship by UPS, truck, or drop ship.

30-Day Return Policy
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery.
To initiate a return, please contact our team at 1-800-448-4115. Have your packing slip, shipping confirmation, or invoice available when you call.
Return Requirements
- Items must be returned in new, unused condition
- Products must be in original packaging
- All parts and accessories must be included
Refunds
- Refunds are issued once your return is received and inspected
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged, we will make it right.
- If damage is visible at delivery, please note the damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves or refuse the shipment
- If damage is discovered after delivery, contact us as soon as possible at 1-800-448-4115
