The Giant Butterfly Garden® Kit offers a hands-on, engaging way for young learners to observe the life cycle of the Painted Lady Butterfly. The habitat measures 18” in height, offering an ideal space for the caterpillars to grow and transform.
The kit comes with a certificate for five live caterpillars, along with special food, an eyedropper for feeding, and a detailed guide to help children understand the fascinating stages of metamorphosis. As the caterpillars eat, grow, and hang upside down to form their chrysalises, they will eventually emerge as adult butterflies—providing children with a full understanding of the butterfly life cycle. This is an excellent addition to a science curriculum, offering visual, hands-on learning.
