The lacing cord has a wooden threading needle on one end, and a wooden stopper on the other end enabling frustration-free threading. The wooden fruits and vegetables are realistically painted and feature a pear, carrot, red apple, green apple, mushroom and eggplant. This threading set helps children develop strong fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cognitive and visual perceptions skills. It also introduces the concepts of shape, size, counting and more making the learning opportunities endless. The 24 fruits and vegetables vary in size from 2” to 4 ½”. The 2 lacing cords measure 36” L. The wooden fruits and vegetables can be wiped clean with a non-bleach solution and a soft, damp cloth.
