“The Powerful Potential of Project Work” is a NAEYC session packed with inspiration about innovative teaching and learning through the Project Approach. The panel will share stories about how Project work transforms classrooms, provides a structure to encourage and enable child-sensitive teaching, and creates communities of practice between children and adults.
Research on the Project Approach will highlight outcomes for children, classrooms and communities of practice. The panelists are editors and authors of the new Teachers College Press publication, "Growing Child Intellect: The Manifesto for Engaged Learning in the Early Years".
